‘Like cancer, scurvy was believed to be incurable, then in 1747 it was discovered that it was simply caused by a lack of fresh food. Today, many people believe that eating apricot kernels, a food source rich in a vitamin called Vitamin B17, can protect against, and maybe even help to cure, cancer. ‘Add Lib’ investigates the controversial claims behind B17 and asks, is it possible that it may be to cancer what vitamin C was to scurvy?’ – Ad Lib magazine
So begins one of many articles about apricot kernels and what they can do for you. In over twenty-five years of investigation into what works with cancer and what doesn’t, I have found dietary changes, vitamin B17 and a less stressful lifestyle come to the fore in successes.
So what’s the deal? Apricot kernels are a favourite of a number of agrarian peoples such as the Hunzas, Abkhasians and Karakorum who have no record of cancer in their isolated states and are famous for long lifespans. Their diets are rich in a food group known as the nitrilosides. Other peoples around the world consume different sources of this factor which has come to be known, rightly or wrongly, as Vitamin B17. According to scientists who have studied and published, B17 must work in conjunction with enzymes, vitamins C, D, A & E to achieve a targeted anti-cancer effect in the body. B17 cannot, and does not work alone.[2]
Vitamin B17 is a stable, chemically inert and non-toxic molecule when taken as food or as a refined pharmaceutical in appropriate quantities (Laetrile and amygdalin are two examples). Scientists discovered the compound reacts to the enzyme beta-glucosidase, located in abnormal amounts at the site of cancerous tumours. In this reaction, beta-glucosidase manufactures two potent poisons, hydrogen cyanide and benzaldehyde (a painkiller), stabilised by two molecules of glucose. These two poisons, produced in minute quantities at the cancer cell site, combine synergistically to kill the cell as part of Vitamin B17’s unique and selective action.
So state scientists studying B17, who were aware that indigenous peoples consuming nitrilosidic foods were not experiencing any harmful side-effects from this reaction. On the contrary, their lives were characterised by abundant good health and longevity. Later they found healthy tissue broke down excess levels of B17 into two nutritious by-products, one of which, sodium thiocyanate, reacts with the precursor hydroxycobalamin in the liver to form another nutrient with the cyanide radical: Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
Biochemist Ernst T Krebs Jr popularised the use of B17 in the sixties and remarked: ‘We hear a great deal about its use in terminal cancer, but the time to start with Vitamin B17 is now before the disease becomes clinical. The time to start is the same with any matter of adequate nutrition and that is right now. You may start now by commencing to eat the seeds of all common fruits that you eat. Apricot and peach seeds contain almost 2 percent of Vitamin B17 by weight. The apple seed, although very small, is equally rich in Vitamin B17 - so are the seeds of prunes, plums, cherries, and nectarines. The only common fruits on the hemisphere that lack nitrilosidic seeds are the citrus fruits. This lack has come about by artificial cultivation, by breeding and hybridization, since the seeds of citrus fruits on the African continent still contain Vitamin B17.’
RECOMMENDATIONS
· Increase the quantity of nitrilosidic (B17) foods in your diet
· Officially, by order of UK’s Food Standards Agency, you’re not supposed to consume more than 2-3 seeds a day or you might die of cyanide poisoning! Unofficially, I have to report the Hunzas don’t do that; they sometimes eat dozens a day, harvesting the fruit growing wild in the Himalayan foothills and cracking the pits for their seeds. So far as I’m aware, Nothing’s happened to them yet
· I’ve been consuming kernels for years as part of my diet with nothing but benefits. I started with one or two a day and worked up to 20 – 25 of the small ‘Shalkur’ kernels over a week and a half (if you have larger kernels (Australian, etc), reduce to 10-15 a day). These days I sprinkle them on my salads and grind them into my veggie juices. People with cancer sometimes take more – 20/40 a day depending on bodyweight - in addition to cleaning up their diets and EXERCISING!!
· Not all apricot seeds are effective. There are many ‘sweet’ hybrids on the market and others have been found to contain mucho pesticides. Seeds must have the characteristic bitter taste, indicating the active ingredients are present
· Don’t swallow apricot seeds whole! May be chewed, pulped, grated or crushed or put into veggie juices
· Consumption should be spread throughout the day. Do not take a whole lot in one go if you are not used to them
· Cancer sufferers should refer to my book, Cancer: Why We’re Still Dying to Know the Truth, for physicians’ reports on treating their condition nutritionally
· In a minority of cases, nausea may be experienced when taking apricot kernels. In this event, consumption should be reduced or discontinued
· Do not consume kernels if you have poor liver function, jaundice, etc. Intravenous Vitamin B17 drips, administered by a qualified physician, can be used to bypass this problem (B17 tablets and IV liquids are at www.cytopharmaexpress.com)
· Please note: Some cancer sufferers believe that apricot kernels alone are all that is required to fight cancer. Consultation with a qualified health practitioner familiar with metabolic therapy is advised for further information. Apricot kernels are usually part of the nutritional support for those exercising cancer prevention for life as well as patients undergoing Phase 1 or Phase 2 metabolic therapy.

BERLIN, July 30, 2007(LifeSiteNews.com) - Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government's Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age. Two 40-page booklets entitled "Love, Body and Playing Doctor" by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.
"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, "The child touches all parts of their father's body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same."
Canadian author and public speaker Michael O'Brien who has written and spoken extensively about the crisis of culture in the West spoke to LifeSiteNews.com about the shocking and extremely disturbing phenomenon. It is, he said, "State-encouraged incest, which in most civilized societies is a crime." The development is, he suggests, a natural outcome of the rejection of the Judeo-Christian moral order.
"The imposed social revolution that has swept the western world is moving to a new stage as it works out the logical consequences of its view of man's value," said O'Brien. "It is merely obeying its strictly materialist philosophy of man. If man is no more than a creature created for pleasure or power. If he is no more than a cell in the social organism, then no moral standards, no psychological truths, no spiritual truths can refute the 'will to power' and the 'will to pleasure'."
The pamphlet advises parents to permit young children "unlimited masturbation" except where physical injury becomes apparent. It advises: "Children should learn that there is no such thing as shameful parts of the body. The body is a home, which you should be proud of." For ages 4-6, the booklet recommends teaching children the movements of copulation.
Another product of the BZgA is a song book aimed at children of four and slightly older which includes several songs espousing masturbation. The song-book entitled "Nose, belly and bum" includes one song with the following lyrics: "When I touch my body, I discover what I have. I have a vagina, because I am a girl. Vagina is not only for peeing. When I touch it, I feel a pleasant tingle."
"The wiser and deeper position of most civilizations recognized that children need a period of innocence," commented O'Brien. "Now the state, the German state, is encouraging destruction of this state of innocence," he added. "This is consistent with the materialist philosophy that sees all moral norms and all truths about human nature as repressive. Pleasure and their distorted concept of freedom are their only guiding principles."
According to the Polish daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita, the BZgA booklet is an obligatory read in nine German regions. It is used for training nursery, kindergarten and elementary school teachers. Ironically it is recommended by many organizations officially fighting pedophilia, such as the German Kunderschutzbund. BZgA sends out millions of copies of the booklet every year.
"A society such as Germany's which is already in steep decline, indeed into degeneration, will only inherit the whirlwind of violence and further levels of degradation of their own people," warned O'Brien.
"It has happened before in Germany. It has happened in other nations. Different causes but the same dynamic, the rejection of the moral order of the created universe results in radical evil. The German state intervention in family life is a new level of auto-destruction," said O'Brien.
Rzeczpospolita reports that the Eckhardt Scheffer of BZgA claimed that before releasing the manual the organization consulted parents, educators and child psychologists. 93% of whom gave a positive evaluation.
Even for a Western nation, Germany's billboards and television ads push the limits of public pornography. Last year LifeSiteNews.com reported that a very popular teen magazine in Germany publishes nude photos of teens in sexual positions which would be in almost any other nation illegal child pornography.
With a licentiousness as the new morality of the secular materialist establishment and homeschool a forbidden practice, parents in Germany may well wonder what will transpire in public education.
"Will those children who are not liberated by their parents have special classes in their schools where they're introduced to these practices," asked O'Brien rhetorically. "If the state intervenes in this way, what won't it intervene in?"
O'Brien concluded his comments quoting G.K. Chesterton: "When men cease to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing anything."

The experiments were carried out in light of what was then defined as the "strategic threat of a surprise biological attack facing Israel," the report said.Meanwhile an official medical committee has published a report, raising doubt over motivations for advancing the experiment.The report which was drafted by a special committee of doctors, a legal advisor, and a scientist from the Weizmann Institute of Science, was finally approved for publication on WednesdaThe report revealed that even while the experiment was taking place, Israel had already had a stock of anthrax vaccines.
"An accelerated effort to produce large quantities of the vaccine was underway a year prior to the experiment, and by the time the experiments were launched, Israel had enough vaccines to cover the civilian concerns," the report said The committee also criticized the "shroud of secrecy" which the experiments' directors implemented."The committee was unconvinced that the need for a vaccine was duly considered by decision makers. Also, it is not clear who the decision makers were who determined the vaccine's necessity," read the report.
The only official document found by the committee about the experiment was written by the deputy Defense Minister.

They risk being caught up in plans to recoup almost £1billion in outstanding fines and court orders imposed for criminal offences as well as driving ones.
Ministers are examining whether to use powers to track the travel plans of everyone leaving the country under a system known as e-Borders to deal with the problem of unpaid fines.
As disclosed by /The Daily Telegraph/, the scheme will track anyone leaving Britain including day-trippers, leisure sailors and even channel swimmers.
The idea of using the system to detain fine defaulters is contained in an "Explanatory Memorandum" to the Immigration and Asylum Act prepared by the Home Office.
It says that e-Borders could help recoup millions of pounds of unpaid fines, and make it easier to enforce the confiscation of criminals' assets following a court order.
"Whilst not a key e-Borders priority, e-Borders could also contribute to compliance on fine enforcement, if provisions were issued prohibiting travel overseas whilst fines remained unpaid and confiscation orders undischarged."
The memorandum continues: "There are totals of £487 million in outstanding fines and £300 million in unpaid confiscation orders.
"It is important to note that in order to minimize the number of interventions at ports, in this context, the police will be mounting an awareness campaign in partnership with other parts of government and the courts to encourage discharge of fines and will use the data collected through e-Borders to support enforcement activity at ports and elsewhere."
A Home Office spokesman said that the proposals would apply to any unpaid fines issued by the courts, including for speeding and motoring offences as well as those for general crime.
It is anticipated that such powers would be used when substantial arrears have been accumulated.
In the case of parking fines, these provisions would be triggered when the debt becomes the subject of an order issued by Northampton County Court.
The court, which is close to one of the main firms of debt collectors, is used by around 200 local authorities to pursue motorists who have not paid their parking fines.
A Home Office spokesman confirmed that Northampton County Court, which issues around a million orders against motorists, a year would be included in any scheme.
The willingness of the Home Office to contemplate using such powers to enforce parking fines has alarmed motoring organisations, however.
"Somewhere a line has to be drawn between pursuing people for minor offences and those which are more serious," a spokesman for the AA said.
The plans were also condemned by Liberty, the human rights campaign group.
"Any attempt to expand passenger databases or to ban people from leaving the UK without compelling security justification would be a legal and political minefield, said Isabella Sankey, the organisation's policy director.
"Surely the Government must wake up to the wide public concern about personal privacy and disproportionate administrative control."
Chris Grayling, the Tory Home Affairs spokesman, also voiced some concern.
"I am in favour of using innovative methods to ensure that people pay their fines," he said.
"My only worry is that it could become so complicated that we will not be able to control our borders properly."
Asked how the Government justified using the extensive powers contained in the scheme to tackle fine defaulters, a Home Office spokesman replied: "e-Borders allows us to secure the UK's Borders by screening people as they travel in and out of the UK.
"It has already screened over 82m passengers travelling to Britain, leading to more than 2,900 arrests, for crimes including murder, drug dealing and sex offences; e-Gorders helps the police catch criminals attempt to escape justice."
